About Medibroker

Medibroker was founded in 1998 by Mr. J. Leslie Smith. Owned by a family of former expatriates, we are proud to address the needs of persons residing outside their home countries. Our Medibroker team consists of twelve hard working and dedicated staff members. Our main office is located in Whitley Bay

in the United Kingdom.

Medibroker abides by one motto, "we are the consultant to the client, not the salesman for the insurer". This is not only our motto, it is our commitment to you. As a team, our goal is to empower our clients, to help them gain back control of their personal healthcare. With today's influx of insurers and corporate ownership of medical facilities, it has become imperative to change our ways of thinking and protect our interests vis a vis our healthcare. Medibroker represents customer interests on a day to day basis. Not only do we assist you in choosing the right healthcare plans, we communicate with insurers regularly, relaying to them your needs, making recommendations on service, and of course, commending them on their points of excellence.

Our founder, Leslie Smith became a trend setter in the field of international healthcare. While he strongly encourages the use of internet technology to create transparency in our service, he has side stepped competitors with his insistence to provide human "good old fashioned service" to our clients. Indeed, Mr Smith was recognised by the UK's North East Chamber of Commerce as their "Entrepreneur of the Year" in 2004. We believe that knowledge and communication are imperative in our business as medical insurance should not be purchased impulsively. Medibroker refuses to "quick quote" clients online and discourages a client from an impulse buy of the first and cheapest product, encouraging a comparative review of benefits and premium costs. Our team is thoroughly trained to open up the market for you, to show you what is available and finally help your compare the benefits of each plan. Our years of experience allow us to know what is important when selecting a health plan and we have chosen to walk that extra mile for your benefit.
